Of the many things I enjoy doing, is going to a markets over the weekend. One of my favorite markets is the Blaauwklippen Family Market. They operate once a month for two days (over the weekend). At this point of time the market is best described as 'cozy,' that is too say that there are not a lot of stalls. Some may say that this isn't such a good thing, I found that they have the right mix of items – from venison to beer to rings made from antique spoons and forks!
For those who are looking for wine try the excellent wine from Blaauwklippen (tasting area is open) and so is the restaurant. Other activities include horse riding.
Now, not to many people know of it so before it becomes too popular I suggest you go out and take a look! They will be open on the following dates
September 3rd-4th
October 1st-2nd (and thankfully, every Sunday)
November 5th-6th
December 4th-5th
